Meet the Teacher
My name is Laura Fernandez. This is my second year teaching in Montgomery, however it is my 13th year working in education. Throughout my career I have taught preschool and kindergarten in other areas of New Jersey as well as in Alabama and Georgia. I have also served as a learning disabilities teacher-consultant
(LDT-C) on a Child Study Team in NJ.
My Family
I am the proud mother of four children. Jimmy is 27 and a fourth grade teacher in the county, Tommy is 25 and works in the film industry, Isabella is 20 and a junior in college studying to be a teacher, and Angelina is a bubbly 5th grade student who loves art!
We are HUGE Disney fans and go to Disney World almost every year. I also like to visit Universal Studios because I'm a Potterhead and LOVE the movies!
